Middle School Youth
Welcome to SAPC’s middle school youth group. We are open to all youth in grades 6-8! This is a safe place where it is totally cool to be who you are, even if you don’t know who that is yet. We’ll help you discover how to stand at your fullest height!
Middle school Sunday school meets from 9:30-10:20am each Sunday in the Bates House. During this hour, we deeply explore the Old and New Testament in exciting, and often silly ways. We embark on a journey that will help us build a foundation that will ultimately allow us to own our own faith and find our place in the Church! Come one, come all.
Youth group, for students in Gr. 6-12, meets every Sunday from 5:30-7pm in the Fellowship Hall.
We also meet on some weekday nights based on scheduled activities. Some weeks we will participate in service work, while other weeks we will focus on biblical themes, social issues and our impact on the world around us, or just simply enjoy our time together in community. We hope you will join us!
At Selwyn, confirmation is a rite of passage reserved for our rising 8th grade students. We explore Presbyterian and Reformation theology, history, and polity as we embrace the opportunity to take our place as members of the church. For further information, or to join the next confirmation class, please contact Margo Richardson, Director of Youth & Young Adults.
