The youth participate in mission trips each summer and church-wide mission trips often correspond with CMS spring break to allow for High School students or Middle School students and their parents to participate. 

Middle School Mission Trips are typically 4 days in length and are planned to focus the attention of the youth on the needs in the community around them and how they can participate in God’s mission. Recent summer mission trips have taken the Middle School youth to Appalachia, Charleston, SC, and Black Mountain, NC. 

High School Mission Trips are typically undertaken during the summer and are one week in length. In recent summers, the High School youth have served in Charleston, SC, focusing on hunger relief, Long Beach, MS, assisting with Katrina relief work, and Merida, MX, partnering with a community-based, children’s advocacy group.
