The Presbyterian Church (USA) is governed by representatives who are elected by the congregation.  These Elders comprise the local governing body which is called the Session.  They are responsible for all the various ministries and programs of the congregation.  

Currently the work of SAPC is organized into six Groups:  Administration, Child Development Center, Christian Education, Congregational Life, Mission, and Worship.  Ordinarily the Groups meet monthly on a Sunday at 11:30 a.m.  All meetings are open, and new members are welcome in all of the Groups!
