During the summer the children and families of SAPC have several opportunities for learning in a different format. 

During a week in the summer, the elementary children have the experience of going to Fellowship Point at Lake Norman for "VBS at the Lake," in conjunction with Covenant Presbyterian Church. During the week they study Bible stories, books of the Bible, prayers and other tools of the faith.  Children are divided into teams and compete for medals.  We also swim and play games and do crafts. 

In June, rising 3rd through 6th graders gather for their week of activities.  The VBS "party bus" heads to the lake from Covenant Church parking lot each morning.

Rising 1st and 2nd graders will go to the lake in July.

There is also a Family VBS at night with classes for children from preschool to youth and a speaker for adults.
