Sunday School

Sunday School classes are available for students of all ages, from infancy to senior citizens, and we welcome new members to our classes.  Sunday School begins at 9:30am and adjourns at 10:15am.  Listed below are the various classes by age group.

Nursery
The nursery is available for infants and toddlers up through age four.  The SAPC nursery is primarily available on Sunday mornings for the 9:30 Sunday School hour through the end of the worship service.  The nursery is available for many of our special services throughout the year.

Children are divided by age into the following rooms:

  • Crib - birth to 12 months
  • Toddler - 12 months to 24 months
  • Two Year Olds - must be two by October 15 of given year
  • Three Year Olds - must be three by October 15 of given year
  • Four Year Olds - must be four by October 15 of given year

Children's Sunday School
Sunday School classes for children are divided by grade:

  • Kindergarten
  • 2nd - 3rd Grades
  • 4th - 5th Grades

Adult Sunday School

Covenant - This class generally engages in in-depth studies of Bible and theology. Lecture, discussion format.

Selwyn Bible Class - This senior class rotates a variety of teachers as they focus on the Uniform lesson series or similar curriculum.

Selwyn Life Studies - This class opens each Sunday with joys and concerns of members and is followed by a class discussion ranging in topics such as; film, theology, contemporary issues, and the Bible.

Seekers - Comprised of parents who are raising children.  Topics cover faith and family issues.

Weavers - Covering all stages of young adult life, this class engages in a variety of relevant issues of the faith, life, theology, and scripture.

Women's Studies - The study of scripture and theology and the implications and application to the lives of women.
